Lisa
VA
Lisa has been a dedicated member of the Marshall Pet Care team for the past year and has a total of three years of experience in the veterinary field. Her love for animals began at a young age, rescuing local wildlife and “fostering” stray kittens—though she admits she failed at fostering and ended up keeping them all! Currently, Lisa’s home is ruled by her three beloved cats.
Lisa dreams of obtaining her veterinary certification to continue growing in her career. When she’s not caring for animals, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Her passion for animals and adventure shines in everything she does!
Holly
CVT
Hi, I’m Holly! I’m a passionate Milwaukee Brewers fan who loves spending my time crocheting, training dogs, and coaching high school tennis for both boys and girls. I’m the proud owner of two Dobermans, whom I thoroughly enjoy training and hiking with. My love for animals and their behavior has led me to pursue my VTS (Veterinary Technician Specialty) in Animal Behavior.
In addition to my professional interests, I’m a devoted wife and mother to two wonderful sons one is about to graduate from MSOE, and the other is finishing up at St. John’s Northwestern Academies. My favorite aspects of veterinary medicine are patient care and behavior, as I believe understanding animals’ needs and ensuring their well-being is key to providing exceptional care.
When I’m not working or spending time with my family and dogs, you’ll find me on the tennis courts, or exploring the great outdoors!
Vi DeLacy
VA
Vi DeLacy’s journey into veterinary medicine began with an ambitious kindergarten dream of becoming a ballerina, veterinarian, and zoologist. While their career path has been more focused, their dedication to animals has never wavered.
Vi began working with animals in the field of dog behavior, earning their CPACP (Certified Professional Animal Care Provider) and pet first aid certification while working toward their CPDT (Certified Professional Dog Trainer) certification. Their passion for behavior drives them to continually expand their knowledge and skills.
In veterinary medicine, Vi gained valuable experience working in emergency care for three years, alongside two years in general practice. Most recently, they spent a year focusing on exotics and small animals, earning their Fear Free Level 2 Certification and deepening their expertise in patient care.
When not at the clinic, Vi can be found immersed in nature. Whether gardening, hiking with their camera and dog, rock climbing, kayaking, or paddleboarding, they thrive in the great outdoors.
Envy
Chief Morale Officer
Meet Envy, the sassiest and most paws-itively adorable member of our veterinary team! Envy takes her role as Chief Morale Officer very seriously, ensuring no treat goes uneaten and no belly rub request is denied.
With her stubby legs and endless energy, Envy specializes in “butt-wag therapy,” boosting spirits and making even the toughest days brighter. She’s a pro at greeting clients with her signature wiggle and supervising lunch breaks to make sure no crumbs are left behind.
When she’s not on duty, Envy enjoys chasing squirrels (with minimal success), perfecting her “sad eyes” to get extra snacks, and reminding everyone that she’s clearly the boss around here. Envy’s motto: “Life’s too short to skip the snacks or the naps!”
Obi
Clinic Mascot
Meet Obi, our charming orange tabby and official clinic spokes-cat! Obi is more than just a fluffy bundle of joy—he’s a proud advocate for diabetic pets everywhere. Sporting his snazzy hoodie and continuous glucose monitor, Obi shows that managing diabetes can be done in style.
When he’s not supervising the front desk or greeting clients with a friendly purr, Obi enjoys lounging in sunbeams, indulging in the occasional diabetic-friendly treat, and reminding everyone to keep their health in check. Whether you’re here for a visit or just need a little feline inspiration, Obi is always ready to brighten your day!
Nicole B.
CSR, Reception Area Wranglers
Nicole lives in the country with her husband, son, and a zoo of animals, including chickens and a pet steer named Tank. She has loved animals her whole life and always dreamed of working with them.
Nicole has been a dedicated Client Service Representative (CSR) at the clinic for several years, and she loves meeting all the clients and their wonderful pets. Building relationships with the patients and their families is one of the most rewarding aspects of her role.
Outside of work, Nicole’s favorite activity is spending time with her family and her beloved furry companions. She also enjoys kayaking, hiking, and exploring the beauty of nature. On quieter days, she can be found relaxing on the couch, watching movies while cuddling with her dogs and cats.
Serafina N.
CSR, Reception Area Wranglers
Serafina joined the Marshall Pet Care team in September 2021, bringing years of experience in human medicine before transitioning to veterinary medicine. She began her journey in animal care at a local ER clinic before finding her place with the Marshall Pet Care team.
Outside of work, Serafina loves embracing the great outdoors. In the warmer months, you’ll find her kayaking, hiking, paddle boarding, or biking, while winter adventures include snowshoeing. She cherishes spending time with her family and fur babies, always striving to live her best life surrounded by the people and animals she loves.
Nicole H.
CVT, Practice Manager
Nicole Hoffman’s passion for veterinary medicine began in elementary school, where she first envisioned herself as a veterinary technician. She pursued this dream by earning her associate’s degree in veterinary technology from Madison Area Technical College in 2005 and successfully passing her national certification exam that same year.
The first five years of Nicole’s career were spent in various general practices, including a brief period at Marshall Pet Care. She then dedicated a decade to the UW Veterinary Teaching Hospital, where she served as a float technician across Small Animal Internal Medicine (SAIM), Cardiology, and Neurology, eventually securing a full-time position in Neurology.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Nicole temporarily transitioned from veterinary medicine to work for Medicaid, allowing her to support her two children as they engaged in distance learning. However, her passion for veterinary medicine called her back, leading her to a staff trainer role with Dr. Greer’s practices. In this position, Nicole focused on elevating the knowledge and skills of the staff, driven by her love for teaching and her commitment to exceptional patient care.
Outside the clinic, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and their array of animals, including cats, chickens, and horses. She is deeply involved in her children’s extracurricular activities, such as rodeo, wrestling, and dance. A creative soul, Nicole has a passion for crafting and enjoys working with various forms of media.
As a Wisconsin native who loves summer and strongly dislikes winter, Nicole is thrilled to be back at Marshall Pet Care, bringing high-quality veterinary medicine to this wonderful community.

Dr. Marty Greer
Co-Owner
I received my Bachelor of Science in 1978 and my DVM in 1981 from Iowa State University in Ames Iowa. In 1982 I established the Brownsville Small Animal Clinic in Dr. Griffith’s practice building and in 1988, moved the practice to Lomira.
I have a special interest in Pediatrics and Reproduction. In 2002, I opened a Canine Semen Freezing Center, International Canine Semen Bank – Wisconsin (ICSB-WI/IL) and became Penn-Hip Certified.
On my first attempt at using extended semen, I bred the practice’s first litter of pups from frozen semen in 1998. The advent of in-house quantitative progesterone testing has made this process much more successful.
My husband, Dr. Daniel Griffiths, and I have two children, Katy, married to Tim, an entomology Ph.D. student at Purdue, and Karl, married to Kelly. In addition, we raise and show Pembroke Welsh Corgis and Danish Swedish Farmdogs. Our family has raised 5 puppies for Canine Companions for Independence, a service dog organization.
The practice has contributed to pharmaceutical and nutritional research as an investigator for Abbott Laboratory, Deprenyl Animal Health, Pfizer, Virbac, and Hill’s Pet food Corporation. I have also been featured in articles in Veterinary Economics.
In 2005, I was appointed by Governor Jim Doyle to a position on the Veterinary Examining Board of the Department of Safety and Professional Services, where I served for 8 years.
In 2010, I graduated from Marquette Law School. I practice law part-time with my law partner, Attorney Sheila Kessler, at Animal Legal Resources LLC.
In 2014, I wrote Canine Reproduction and Neonatology a 470-page book about everything reproduction which was the Winner of Dog Writers Association of America’s Dogwise Best Book Award.
In 2019 I became certified as a Fear Free professional. I recognized the benefit of including Fear Free practices to try to make your pet’s visit to us as relaxed as possible. While there are many Fear Free practices we use, one of them is offering treats like peanut butter and chicken baby food to give your pet a distraction while we do exams and testing to reduce anxiety and stress. We know that a Fear Free experience is a benefit to you, your pet, and also our staff.
In 2020, I wrote Your Pandemic Puppy which explains how to raise a well-adjusted puppy during a pandemic.
I am active in the community as a member of the AVMA, NEWVMA, AAVSB, APDT, AAFP, SVME, The Society for Theriogenology, the Fond du Lac Kennel Club, The Kettle Moraine Kennel Club, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America, Lakeshore Pembroke Welsh Corgi Kennel Club, and the Lomira Area Chamber of Commerce.
I am on the Board of Directors for the Society for Veterinary Medical Ethics, American Veterinary Medical Law Association, and the Society for Theriogenology. I served on the Animal Welfare Committee and Education Committee for the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association. I am also president of the National Animal Interest Alliance.
I have recently started working with Revival Animal Health as their Director of Vet Services. I will be posting articles that will be exclusive to Revival Animal Health.
Certified Dogosteron Veterinarian.
What motivated you to become a veterinarian?
I loved science, problem-solving, and medicine, but not sick people. It made helping people with their pets a great choice for me.
What has been your most rewarding moment as a veterinarian?
Seeing my staff and student’s eyes light up when they see what I see.
If you weren’t a vet, what would you do?
Something with food—either food science or cooking. I almost went into food technology instead of veterinary school.
What is the most exotic animal you have treated?
The Mercury Cougars—the cubs were patients at Iowa State for declaws when we were students. They were declawed so they could pose on the Mercury cars in the showrooms. Can you imagine having big cats in car dealerships today? Oh, the liability!!!
What animal scares you more than any other?
Spiders.
What do you see as the greatest danger to household pets?
The neighbors who turn in owners of multiple pets without substantial reason to do so. And the consequences that follow.
What do you consider your greatest accomplishment?
Raising 2 healthy children to adulthood to become self-sufficient, kind, contributing members of our society.
What do you do in your spare time?
What spare time? Oh—cook, knit, shop. No vacuuming.
What is your favorite comfort food?
Macaroni and cheese—with great cheddar cheese. And a great beer to wash it down.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Eating at a chain restaurant.
Name 5 things people might be surprised about if they knew it about you?
- I am a serious foodie.
- I like to re-purpose everything I can.
- I lived in Arizona for 4 years as a kid and always expected to live there. Missed the turn when I left Iowa and ended up here 32 years ago.
- I do own clothes that are not surgical scrubs.
- I do sleep.
