We are doing curbside veterinary service. This basically means for the health and safety of everyone, we are not allowing non-staff into the veterinary clinic. We are seeing all types of appointments at this time, but are experiencing a heavy demand for veterinary services. For wellness/vaccine appointments, please plan on scheduling out 3-4 weeks in advance.
When you arrive in the parking lot, please stay in your vehicle and call our clinic at 608-655-3963. Your call will be transferred to one of our veterinary technicians who will go over your concerns, patient history and what the visit will entail.
Then that technician will come to your vehicle to collect your pet to bring into the clinic. Please don a mask when we are at the vehicle. We will be wearing one as well. We ask that you wait in your vehicle during the entire appointment.
With the heavy call volume and current cell signals we cannot always call out to you, so if you leave, we have no way of contacting you. Please STAY IN THE PARKING LOT so if we cannot call we will at least be able to don a mask and come to your car to talk. After the physical exam, the doctor will call you or come out to your vehicle to go over her exam findings and discuss any other procedures that she recommends.
Once all exams, vaccines and treatments are done, will call or come out to your car to collect payment. We prefer people pay with a credit/debit card over the phone, but we will still take cash or check. Once payment is complete we will bring out any medications and then your pet. Payment is expected at time of service while you and your pet are still here.
We are experiencing a very heavy volume of calls during this time. If you receive a busy signal, please just come to the door of the clinic and knock on the glass. The person at the desk will wave to let you know that you are seen and she will send someone out to help you as soon as possible.
This is a very difficult time for us all. Please be respectful of other patients and our staff. We do ask that whenever we interact with you, even outside the clinic, please don a mask. We are extremely busy and physically can only do so much in one day. We are scheduling a limited number of wellness/vaccine appointments each day to help save room for more sick/injured pets. With that being said we are having to send more people to the emergency clinic than ever before. W do not do this lightly and we realize it is inconvenient. We are here to help pets and if we take on too many cases, we will make mistakes. We are not willing to risk your pet's health in this way. So please understand, if we recommend the emergency clinic, we do so with your pet's best health in mind. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this difficult time.
